The Baikal Astrophysical Observatory
The BAO was founded in 1980 on the north of Baikal coast, closed to Listvayanka village, 70km. away from Irkutsk.The main research area at the BAO is the study of solar activity manifestations in the photosphere and chromosphere with a resolution which should be the maximum attainable on the ground. For that purpose, the BAO is equipped with a Large Solar Vacuum Telescope, a photoheliograph and a chromospheric telescope.
Tower's height is 25m.
Excursion's duration is 60-90 minutes.
Maximum number of persons are 15.
Minimum number of persons are 5.

School children have to be accompanied by adult person, small children under 12 years old are not allowed.
